If you take a look in the corner of my post, my name is not Google. Kink is obviously adult in theme but by NO means inherently sexual. If you're creeping on my carrd, you'd also see that it explicitly states that I'm asexual. So, uh...

And google tells me that the "erotic" part of ERP means "of, devoted to, or tending to arouse sexual love or desire", so once more what part of "ERP (as a domme or anything else really)" is nonsexual?

Also I don't care about you, your carrd or your sexuality, but sexuality denotes attraction more than activity and it's not uncommon for aces to do sexual stuff by themselves or with other people regardless of their attraction.

Maybe some specific clarification is in order, if it's not ERPing as a dom, then what is actually said/described and what kind of thing is going on? I can get people not wanting to share the Carrd details (I mean, I know the trolls this forum attracts). But LittleImp is claiming there's ERPing as a dom, but without seeing specifically what is written and of course all the types of RP that goes on at the venue, it's hard to judge who's accurate. You might be able to answer my questions in my previous post too if you're tied to the aforementioned venue.

And that's the Carrd for the venue? Then yes, I would strongly suspect if it wasn't the word "dalliance" that did it, the GM might have seen this Carrd and figured staff offering ERP would constitute it as an ERP venue and it's the ERP part that's adult content.

If this is only the character's Carrd and if there's nothing to confirm the venue is ERP on the venue's Carrd then I'd be inclined to give the venue the benefit of the doubt.


Of course, to Fuumin, I wish to clarify I have no issue with your character being RP'd that way and whilst I realise the character is asexual, there are many people who are asexual who do have sex in specific circumstances, but the give away is not the domme or the asexuality but the advertisement of ERP, which is adult RP. So it feels disingenuous that the "ERP" bit has been conveniently avoided in this thread when people are suggesting the common denominator is the 18+ RP & that's why people are getting in trouble.

And this has been propped up as a venue that's not being advertised as 18+ and the OP made the semantic argument over "dalliance" and you've now made the semantic arguments about kink and ace. It just makes for a bad faith argument and people here see through that kind of thing and doesn't really do anybody any favours.

So then folks should be calling for clarification or a stance on what they consider acceptable as far as adult content and ERP goes. Whether it's a big "no" entirely or whether it's just the public advertisements? Whether it's something specific about the ones targeted and so on. Nobody in an official capacity has ever said ERP is not allowed. YoshiP has made clear his stance on brothels and that's about it.

I realise many here would say "ban it completely" but that doesn't necessarily reflect the devs' or GMs' stance. Ambiguity suggests they don't ban it outright and nobody has been told to stop. Heck one GM in the past said it's okay. But they can be flakey so it's no guarantee either.

Then it does seem pretty obvious to me why the GM has acted, whilst the guy was vague and backpedalled and wasn't that helpful beyond his comment about age considerations but with how since after the initial GMing error of 1 GM it has seemingly just been ERP or adult venues using PF that have been moderated, I think it's safe to say, this is why the GM got involved (at least, nobody has told me otherwise in these threads when I've asked if non-adult ones have been affected). It seems they may be using more than just the PF description.
