Look don't get me wrong, I am not a supporter of publicly advertised erp. I don't think it's appropriate with the age rating of this game.

However I find it very worrying that people are often disciplined without being told exactly what they did wrong, and also how "dalliance" supposedly must have sexual connotations just because it was for a bar or night club, as opposed to people just chatting casually with no strings attached which can also be a dalliance. A word with more than one meaning on its own isn't proof of something. If they were caught in the act of pushing their erp onto others then fine I support the punishment. But if not, then that is an issue in of itself.

I have a pretty good idea of why that player RP venue advertisement got them warned and I'm sure that player can also tell by now why that happened.

I used to raid with someone who spewed out empty threats of reporting. In the heat of the moment they would state they would report but after they calmed down they ended up not doing it.

I just hope it doesn't get to the stage in which players and GMs think "it's a late night bar, it must have adult content!" when it could easily be a bunch of people rping snobs drinking expensive wine while complimenting the attire of their acquaintances.

It's extremely popular in the RP community for hosting little websites that include RP character or venue profiles. You'll often see links to them in PFs or in peoples search infos.

The OP intentionally censored out both the name of the venue and the link to the carrd relating to it, because it contains direct references to selling ERP services and pretty much completely torpedo's the narrative they set out to create.

This is interesting because SE typically do not use information from outside of the game as proof to discipline a player, and when I have heard of it happening it was always a stream in which you could clearly see the player playing the game and doing the deed.

In the case of that site, there isn't a way to prove that the profiles of the characters actually belong to the players, is there? If SE are using that site to track activity well...I just hope no one decides to troll by putting up dummy accounts to get someone else in trouble. Not saying this is what happened to OP, just speaking in general.

Carrd.co is a website allowing people to make like a one page website for whatever they want to put on it. There was a link to a carrd in the party finder but this one got cut off by the OP so we can't tell what was on it.

Then LittleImp said this on page 6 :

That is a threath done by these people... and if they get reported for saying that to you... then they will see themself in Jail sooner or later, especially if they keep up with that kind of activity, you can also get reported if you are openly telling someone that you are going to blacklist them....
