My friend refused to believe ppl are like this, but Ive played the game enough to know better. Unfortunately the healer isnt as petty as me or the tank (to let them die), as we woulda kicked them from the group if it wasnt for the fact there was no more dungeon left lol.

I have never run into anyone quite that petty(maybe 90%, but not quite there). I so wish i was naive enough not to believe that such people exist. I know in my heart that they are out there. Playing our game. Thinking that they are in the right when pulling BS like this. God complex is strong with those ones. You have my sympathy for having to deal.

That's impressive in its own way.
I think the highest body count I have ever seen was on my first E4N run with 40ish on the kill. But I remember getting the "healer????" several times in party chat when people died in good old Titan traffic. You can heal a in normal raids but even there, there's a limit to how much pressure you can put on a healer. I've encountered a few people in normal raids that expected the healers to preshield them when they ate stacks and were likely to get one shot by the next mechanic. Because they clearly have nothing better to do when it's already going south.

Happens everytime I break rythmn. I never properly recover and it feels like all decisions I take from then on is the wrong one: from rezzing at the wrong time to using a cd at the wrong time to doing a mech at the wrong time.

I swear E12n either goes amazingly or I'm low on mp and Lucid isn't up yet becuase people keep eating everything. One of the latest runs in there the healer for some reason decided to waste the LB3 when only two people were dead (and one of them I just sent a Verraise over to) and sit on all THEIR mp while the other healer died a few times (they were new, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt) while I had to do most of the rezing and some SMN even helped out. Then when my melee combo is up I get a "rdm raise" response in chat. Like.... I have been, why don't you use your pool?

I've had Trial runs I've not done in awhile, I do a stupid and then I jsut never recover becuase I got out of the rhythm I was in. I remember a particularly bad one in Emerald Weapon I think I bit the dust 5 times or more, felt so bad about it.

Yesterday, leveling roullete Aurum Vale. Me (Sam) and a BLM exchange greetings. Tank (?) and Scholar that seemed to be a duo due to similar last name and world, stay silent.

First room. Tank pulls stuff mid? Okay, might be new despite being lvl80. People buy boosts all the time after all. Fortunately, he seems to be pulling small so we somehow manage to get across the room. However, for some reason, he decides to go right instead of the boss room, grabbing some more mobs for us to kill. Hmm. Odd... but okay, we manage.

Bossroom: despite tankstance, I see atleast 3 vokes and the boss gets turned this way and that. But somehow we down the boss. Then in the corridor I notice something weird: the tank&healer dont seem to walk normally in the sense that it was like they were AI from Trust. To be more specific: if we walked, they'd walk to within range. No noticable initiative from the tank whatsover. We had to walk close to the mobs before the tank did anything and the tank didnt even grab aggro of them all.

We make it until the beginning of the room with the bats and scorps right before Coincounter. Tank and healer just... stopped moving. Both 'AFK'. BLM and I just have convo, trying to get some action or reaction from them but none whatsoever. Eventually we decide to votekick them and get replacements to wash away the weirdness. Ended with a good run once the 2 bot-like duo was gone.

Today: Malikah's Well in leveling roulette. We initially stand around a bit for the tank to go ahead but I notice the names. Again a tank/healer duo with similar last name. Not very into greeting but atleast they were from dif datacenters. I'm guessing the last name is popular. Healer seemed normal and human. Tank however showed the same AI script movement again where it was the party that needed to advance before its targeting system activated and it, netting a reaction from the other dps wondering why there were small pulls. Something that was quickly answered upon getting to the second group where there was a wipe somehow. Second try went better BUT tank felt the need to LB, netting vocal confusion from both me and the other DPS. Healer stayed silent.

At this point I mentioning in chat that I'm having a dejavu. And while approaching, doing and after the first boss, I tell about the weird experience with the bot-like duo from Aurum Vale. With the difference that there wasn't any afk-ing for now. At this point, the healer actually wrote in chat that I should know that they weren't a couple. Which was nice and already noticable.

Second boss: various vokes again but nothing much.
Mob pulls: triggered another LB from the tank (what)
Last boss: Tank stacks vuln stacks like a boss and just as I my fellow DPS write in chat that I should use LB before the tank does... the tank LBs again



What should I think of this? I've blacklisted this... thing for whatever good that it does but really, what could this be?

Those probably were bots, yeah. It was rare(er) to encounter them in dungeons in the past, but it's becoming more prevalent, it seems.

EDIT: For anyone that isn't yet aware, blacklisting is pointless as it doesn't prevent you from being grouped with them again, unfortunately. Report the bots and hope SE finally starts taking all of this seriously...

I just rezmaged a Puppet Bunker run. We never wiped but I probably raised the entire raid AT MINIMUM 2x over. So somewhere close to 40+ times.

Super Ethers are my second limit break.
