Having worked in retail, I am immediately reminded of the time a customer was given a complementary drink, whom accidently dropped it a few seconds later and DEMANDED compensation for this "outrage". Said it was our fault the cup was too slippery and his socks ruined.
Also worked in retail, also had this customer. I think every retail store comes with this person, not sure... have to look in to that.

Also completely agree with the sentiment here. This strikes me as nothing more than "I screwed up, confirmed the screw up, and now I'm complaining about the screw up. And if you don't fix it, I'm never shopping here again."
