In 7.0 what do you guys think Alisaie's...

I thought recently Yoship said she won’t be getting a new class, just a new outfit (and we’ll be surprised who she gets it from). Maybe I misunderstood the translation. I don’t think she’ll be getting a new one.

I think RDM fits her character perfectly. Action oriented but with healing abilities. It made sense for Alphi to learn a new job though, since he’s been an arcanist from the getgo.

YoshiP was also talking about what happens in 6.0. OP was asking about 7.0.

Personally I think it's silly (or trollish) to start a discussion about something that far in the future when we don't know what is going to happen to characters in 6.0. But for the sake of discussion I'm all for Alisaie and Alphinaud merging to become Leveilleur Prime, call on the spirit of their Grandfather Phoenix and strike the killing blow against Zenos/Zodiark at the end of 6.0, destroying themselves in the process so they won't be around for 7.0.

There was another thread like this one, but I don't think Alisaie will get a new job. Right now her and her brother match job-wise, as Sage is very close to Red Mage magic-wise in FF series. Right now I think that everyone seems pretty content in what they do (becides Alphy who is changing soon).

I think her change will be whatever new shiny skill RDM gets in 6.0

Not sure where this could have even started. I'm more of the mind for a possible time skip (as occurred in 1.0 to 2.0), in that case i suppose new jobs for all Scions could be more plausible. As of now however, i don't see a reason for her (or any other Scion) would/ should change disciplines (besides Alphinaud of course).

While it seems unlikely she'll get a new job right now, I do feel it's a bit of a raw deal for her. I mean, she's the one who actually vocally expressed boredom and frustration for being stuck where she was and yet Alphinaud gets a new job but she doesn't? Booooo...

Most recently I thought she was bored and frustrated about waiting around for some action and not getting a fancy, new outfit while everyone else had theirs remade from scratch and modeled after what they were wearing on the First. She seems rather happy with her current job.

Personally, I feel like she'll end up becoming a physical dps that focuses on a fighting style similar to RDM where she works to build up aether in her weapon, but much faster and without a cast timer strike at her foes much faster than she ever could as RDM.

She already had a job change, unlike her brother. Red Mage is her job change.

I don't think Alisaie is getting another job change. Alphinaud is playing catch-up to her.

Though I have to say, it's a bit funny that the Binding Coils of Bahamut questline had them combining the tomes their grandfather gifted them to unlock their true power, only to drop that entirely now with Alisaie becoming a Red Mage (mid-Heavensward) and Alphinaud becoming a Sage (Endwalker)? Gotta wonder where that giant book went...

They probably threw it off a cliff because leaving such powerful artifacts at the bottom of a ravine for anyone who just happens to come across them has worked out so well in the past.

Sure would suck if the Warriors of Darkness from another Universe somehow went down there and fetched that Tome and used it against them.
