Nah, you need to give people time to know that the house is there for sale. I'd say make it 24hrs and make VISIBLE, byt that would just create a massive click war, every time, which might as well just be a lottery given how random that would be. Also, you'd need some premium Internet to be able to buy a house under those circumstances, giving people equal chances is much better on that case.

The main reason why there are so many threads because people don't research and do a mega discussion thread to consolidate all ideas and keep updating it. It is always some random guy spit out a shorted-sight idea the leaves. Most of important of all, Lottery will not increase your chance to get a house and in matter of fact it will lower it gradually. Consider on how NA players behave on forum, the tear from QQing will form a river.

This is a dumb, short-sighted, lack of insight idea and it does nothing to resolve supply vs demand issue

And the alternative is that players sit around for literal hours of their finite life competing against - *checks notes*... Housing bots continually clicking the placard even after it's been sold. Yeah, nah, even if I have to compete with a bunch of alts/bots I still have a much better chance of enjoying the rest of the game and my ever dwindling lifespan through a lottery system.

I have no confident from any ideas made from player community over housing issue when they don't even understand SE's internal server infrastruce is
