Predictions for job(s) in the next expansion?

I don't think Reaper is the next classe. The way Naoki Yoshida showed the T-shirt was way too explicit. That not like him at all.

For every theory i've seen on the internet for the Melee job, I guess Templar could be a good candidate. Let me explain my point on every class.

Corsair : First thing, Corsair aren't supposed to battle in Heavy Armor, because the new class will share some of the DRG's armor. Beside that, Naoki Yoshida announced that the job will be completely new. (If you go to Limsa outside the Marauder guild, you'll see what remains from the Corsair that should have come into the game. A flag is here.) Because Corsair is "already" in, it's not new, so I think Corsair won't come out. Beside that, Corsair usually battle with Gun and Sword... Gunbreaker actually have both in the same weapon, and Machinist use Gun. A third job with this will make it redundant. (Weapon : Sword and Gun)

Reaper : Reaper "could" be the next job, but not because Zenos wield a new weapon that could be a Scythe. The reasons I'll use to dismiss Reaper is that a Scythe is somewhat similar to a Spear. It's a two handed weapon with a blade on top of it. A reaper in Heavy Armor ? Why not ? Could be something cool actually. But the way Naoki Yoshida actually give us "information" could mislead us to this. (Weapon : Scythe)

Templar : Because of many search of information behind the Shirt of Naoki Yoshida, Templar actually got a spot to be a good candidate.Templar is usually a Knight with religious background (Ishgard Related ?) and that make it different from a Paladin. In FF Series, Templar are usually a Unique classe, and they are related to the Vangaa (the Lizardman who sides with Fran in FF14). In Tactics, Beowulf Cadmus and Aliste Rosenheim are Templar using Sword to deal magic damage and are somewhat similar to a Mystic Knight (Weapon : Runeblade ?). And what if Aymeric is a Mystic Knight ?

Other Theorie I've seen so far :

Judge : Not actually a Job in any FF Series EXCEPT ONE : FF Brave Exvius. Indeed, Some character from FF12 have the "Judge" Job attached to them. Judge have great ability in Combat but also in Magic. They can use almost any magic they want if they are skilled enough and use Heavy Armor all the time. We got the Judge armor from FF12 with the Delubrum Reginae. That could be a good hint. Even in a Cutscene we've seen Gabranth unsheating his weapon ! (Weapon : Long and Short Sword Dual wielding ?)

Your arguments for what job you think it won't be is one thing, but I don't understand what you mean by it being too explicit.

Would say only Spiderman one was not on the nose. There were wild theorycrafting (just like now), but very early on most predicted it being machinist, because of using a gun and gadgets. Samurai was the only strange one, even though a lot of people predicted it early on pretty easily with all other ideas being even more far fetched.

People thought the James Bond one was "Agent" because that was the job Al-Cid used in Tactics Advance. Also remember that the last tshirt we got for Shadowbringers didn't hint at a job at all so we don't have any real certainty what the shirts predict without hindsight.

For example GNB has 3 main "type" of names reoccuring: gunblade, bayonet and manatrigger.

Yeah but it's fun to think about possible names. A lot theorize on scythes, so what could it be?

You're correct about that one, forgot about that. Well, either way, if it ended up being an Agent job, it would still have been on the nose, in one way at least. It might not have been obvious which one it would be, but there wouldn't have been some elaborate way to figuring it out.

I guess that would be a better way to explain what I meant, that no shirt so far has needed anyone to do hours upon hours of research into lore or follow hidden messages. You have been able to find the correct answer by either just knowing jobs from Final Fantasy games, or looking for hints around some specific movies, which was weird, but it was literally one of the first things popping up when looking at wikipedia, IMDB or something for those movies. So I guess, if people really think the second shirt wasn't a hint, then Templar is plausible, but then they would be very similar to Paladin, and it would also mean Zenos is changing to some other job for some reason (he's not going to be a templar...)

The last shirt before this was for a race, true. Although, when Yoshi-P wore that shirt, he was very much aware that a big portion of the community already was expecting us to get at least one race and that it would be Viera. It was leaked months before, and all other leaks came true before that, so we knew. It was also yet again very on the nose, with Bugs Bunny.

It really doesn't make any sense that he was hinting at another race, not only because they have already kinda said they won't be releasing more races, but also there are no feasible race that makes sense for the hints. Is there really any other content that he could hint at other than jobs? Hinting at some boss wouldn't make sense, and if it's some new content, that also doesn't make sense, because who would be able to make any prediction at all for that?

So all in all, I will continue to see a lot of the theories flying around, as very far fetched, and more what people want to have, rather than what makes most sense. I for example, would prefer if my prediction of a Sice based job, isn't true, because there are other ideas that sounds better to me. I'm not going to make those other predictions just because that's what I want though. Could maybe force a connection to Viking if I wanted, because that's the job I want the most

I havn't gone through all 70+ pages, so I apologize if this has been brought up.
I think the new class is a 2 handed Hammer wielding DPS which will be called "Bonecrusher". I think the big theme of his shirts was the grim reaper, but being a more direct "bone" reference than actual grim reaper reference.
There is another reference on his second shirt which , again, 70+ pages, so if this has been brought up, I apologize. His second shirt was a "Heavy Metal" band. Heavy, as in large blunt massive hammer or maul. And its also in reference to the Maiming gear being similar to plate or heavy gear sets.
Also, Old goth girl from the Eden raids used a 2handed Hammer, and I think the goth-y hammer wielder gives a great nod again to the grim reaper references from yoshi's shirts.
What do y'all think? Bonecrusher, or Bonebreaker or something along those lines.
