I play MNK BECAUSE it has more positionals. Other melee DPS are so boring because they can just stay in one spot for most of the their rotation and I just never really enjoyed that aspect of them. With MNK, hitting my positionals is literally the best part of the job for me since it feels more active to play then the other melee roles. Sure, Riddle of Earth and True North have kind of undermind that part of the class but I still move out of reflex since that's just how the class has always played.
Hopefully, now that GL is no longer an issue, they can start build up MNK properly instead of how everything up to know has been just GL maintenance.
I agree. I mean no disrespect, but I don't really think it's fair to say "I don't play this job, but I want you to change it to something that I will play." I really don't think every job has to be super accessible to all players. Some can be easier, and some can be more challenging. SAM is an incredibly easy and forgiving melee DPS (in my opinion), and you get top numbers for it no less. Why not try a job like that?
I don't really play black mage, but I feel like it has too many ranged spells. Why can't it have a bunch of melee combos? It'd make it much more accessible to more players, which is only a good thing!
