Your wording is weird, but if you’re talking about making savage gear available to sell on the MB, that could be profitable to savage raiders who would be doing that actual work to get it. Sort of like how non-crafters can buy high quality crafted gear sold by crafters who put in the work to make it.

However, I think part of the fun of high-end content is getting the exclusive pretty pixels that come with it. The raid community is pretty shafted in this game as it is, so regardless of potential profit I’m not sure this would sit well.

The listings are annoying, but not a big enough deal to do something as drastic as what you’re suggesting. Keep the savage stuff exclusive. Those of us too lazy to do it can just demolish the expansion after. Or I guess pay hundreds of dollars for clears, which is hilarious.

For sake of arguement I'm going to say that sure, the current skip books are pay to win because they reduce the amount of time taken to reach endgame.

That doesn't mean that making everything buyable is a good thing. Or that adding literal pay to win 'buy this and the boss dies and you get all the rewards' is a good idea. There is such a thing as nuance, context and degrees of severity.

So letting a 3rd party do it is fine as long as the 1st party(se) doesn't do it, essentially?

No. People buying runs with real money or account sharing to carry them etc, are bad. And when found should be reported and the people involved banned.

This is a blight on the game's name and dev team. They should something about it in some capacity. If normal reason doesn't work, corporate greed usually does. They are missing out of extra on microtransactions.
