I fear for 2.0 if something as simple as a server merge is already hitting all these snags.

Server merging is a sensitive subject and the Dev's acknowledge this. Listening to what the community on this matter is the best course of action for SE.
Mixing Plan 2 and 4 together personally is the best way to handle the situation. Merging with another server and giving us the option to transfer to another server is a "Have your cake and eat it too." situation. You get a bigger community, no confusion on transfers, offline players still with the same people they were before, and people who want to move to a different community(server) have the option to do so. It is the best way to go in my opinion.
My biggest hope is that returning players will have a choice upon return. Contrary to belief, I was never arguing for #2 so much as I was arguing for, like many other MMOs, simply allowing those coming back into the fold a choice, rather than thrusting them into a random server after March.![]()

LMFAO it's not age restriction dude, I'm old enough to be able to handle it and not the point I was making. It's the point of maturity as in the maturity in the actions you or others take when you dislike something, that's all. Just thought it funny.*shrugs* (^.^)v
now is the best time to calculate it imo. the returning players always just play for a week and quit again. If they wanna have solid numbers go by the slow period that is just before the patch and not after.
But why? I mean I sort of see your point from a human standpoint of let's be nice give them a chance but, they made the decision not to play or pay for service so why should SE do anything for them?My biggest hope is that returning players will have a choice upon return. The old adage of "Snooze you loose." They have time if they even CARE to read the Lodestone as the date was originally posted before Server Merge Armageddon took place last week and that post/announcement was removed.
To me it seemed like there was on one side a discussion about the merge and on the other side kitties qqing about the bitching and slander of other people (which they were causing themselves). So yeah I understand very well why Phe is flipping kitties off.So you're actually proud of the bitch fest that occurred? You condone the way in which this was accomplished? That's rather sad imo. You can flip us off but the reason I PERSONALLY said anything that first day on page 1 or 2 of those posts is because of the lack of maturity in which the issue was brought up. Even Yoshi said something about all those who went QQ on the forums. LOL
Like the little guy you created there, good to see the lack of maturity still exists.

i made a suggestion for an alternative method of merging long before Yoshi-P presented the other solutions that were taken into consideration.
that is definitely more constructive and mature than saying
"the Devs made their decision. you can't do anything about it."
