Are you aware these things require a "subscription" to the app and are not just free things for downloading it?... also it's an additional slot for a retainer.. as in you can buy another slot, not that you get one with the subscription.

You need a subscription to get the retainer but it has basic marketboard functions for free.

I don't use it, but my understanding is that the subscription gives you an additional retainer but it was badly phrased that once you have subscribed to the app, you (or rather your character) can then hire a new retainer from the in-game retainer vocate.

I haven't heard for certain that this is the correct understanding, but it seems much more probable.

Didn't "remote" marketboard functions cost like.. a Kuponut or something like that. Whatever currency. And I think you get some for the sub but if you go over you have to buy them?

Yeah, they cost the Kuponut currency, which you get 1 or 2 free daily, and can hold 5-10 of them(been a long while since I used the app myself). Not sure about buying them, but there is likely that possibility to happen.
