I kinda wish they’d just make energy drain consume all remaining stacks and deal damage/restore mp based on how many stacks were consumed. So we can literally just use it when aetherflow comes off CD to get rid of our remaining stacks before refreshing it.

Hitting Energy Drain by accident would run the risk of using all your Aetherflow Stacks and possibly leave you with no healing resources at all. Although, Aetherflow could possibly function the same way as your proposed Energy Drain and then we wouldnt need Energy Drain at all. Aetherflow could be used to gain three stacks and MP as it is now with the added ability to do damage and restore more MP based on how many stacks you currently have. It could change to AetherFlood when it comes off cooldown and stacks are still waiting to be used. Its one less button and still a way to trade healing resources for damage with less risk since you're guaranteed to get stacks each time.
