    I want this, but so many people seem very against the idea for what ever reason ( I've yet to see an argument against that makes any since). Don't hold your breath on this pretty sure even YoshiP said it's not happening.

    It's job by job for me.

    I don't feel that PLD for example would lose anything worthwhile by consolidating combos, but Monk and Samurai would.

    I agree that GNB needs this as they have 6 slots just clogging up their hotbar, every other class no and at best would shrink the hotbar situation to like 1. MNK for example rather than trying to simplify it how about focus on the fists of earth and wind and other avenues to shrink its hotbar. Ranged dont need Leg and foot graze when so many are immune to it, SAM mind eye, Merciful eyes and attack could be rearranged. Pdps Bloodbath and feint can be reevaluated, SMN can condense a skill or two, RDM would be the perfect job for this for its physical finisher.

    I dont mind a few skills to be condensed but whole ass rotations, besides MCH and GNB where they dont diverge, it wouldnt be worth it and even then MCH has a ton of free space and doesnt require much condensing even if EW adds the max amount of skills being 5

    There's no reason to put them on one button.
    RDM doesn't have many skills as it is, and it's skills fit neatly onto the hotbars as they are, with space to spare.
    It's nice to have multiple buttons for the melee combo so that it feels like RDM has more than one melee attack.
    Otherwise you have a bunch of spells and then one melee attack you have to mash three times.

    Off the top of my head going just by combos

    SAM could save 2 slots with their single target combos the second hit of each combo could turn into the third
    DRK could save 4 slots nether of their combos diverge
    MCH and GNB as you said
    DNC could save 2
    Yes not every class would benefit the same amount but free up hotbar space could allow them to add more interesting abilities instead of "upgrading" old one or just flat out removing skills

    The thing I want is to have all buttons on the primary SINGLE TARGET rotation on slots that are quick access, like 1-2-3-4 and ctrl 1-2-3-4. That's it. Everything else can be where-ever on the bar! Every job is boring in this game if that is all you play, the whole point of being able to swap jobs is so that you do not get bored.
