Question about an FC and House I now own.

So I've recently come into possession of a dead FC that has a Medium sized house. The house is full of items and other stuff. I don't really know if I would be able to handle running an FC for myself, so I'm wondering if it's against the rules to try and sell this FC and the House to someone, including all the items inside the house as well.

It's the only way for others to get houses aside from lucky demos/beating others at the clicking.

Selling an FC is not against the rules of the game as long as it's done for gil.

As far as I know, it is not technically against any official game rules as long as RMT is not involved but SE and most of the player community frown on those who do it for gil. SE did not intend for houses to be resold by players.

Instead of selling it, my suggestion would be to give the FC leadership to someone you know that wants to start a FC. That's what I did in a similar situation. I'm still part of the FC but my friend is a much better FC leader than I would have been.

You are welcome to sell the plot/FC and what it has as bonus for the market value of it is, there has been seen people getting bans for profitting extreme.

To be clear, no one has ever been banned for selling an FC and documented it.

With an FC, you are conferring leadership to someone. An FC is yours to sell or give away.

The sale type that can lead to bans is selling plots. If you say "my FC doesn't want this house, I'll demolish it into an empty plot, if you pay me" that is a brand of griefing since you cannot give them the plot, you are simply offering to release it back to the server, where the player can buy it themselves.

It is nor permitted to sell property for more than what is worth regarding housing, what they do on reddit they can get smacked for badly, if discovered or reported in by the buyer for having over charged its worth.

Again, the rule you describe is for plots. Not for FCs. Do not spread misinformation.

Housing is hard to learn about, because the resources don't say much. If the player base starts spreading misinformation, we're in a world of hurt.

You can make anyone the leader or your FC for any reason.

Offering to demolish+relinquish a home for money is reportable (see the video I linked above) and I imagine this is what you are thinking of. But it does not apply if the OP simply confers the FC leadership onto someone. Jojoya is right and the only objection anyone anywhere will have to selling an FC is a moral/fairness issue.

I would not sell the FC for more then 25 million with what you have. Medium go from 15-20 million so throw on a couple extra million for the FC and the furnishings then call it good. If you go crazy and start asking for 100million or something you are going to get in trouble. Also make sure to state in your listing that you are selling a FC with house and not just the house itself. Last and most importantly DISCUSS the sale using in game chat, do not let anyone talk you into using discord or some outside chat program. If you didnt have a house attached then selling for the price I mentioned would be silly and likely would not sell. The most I have ever seen a house less FC sell for is 8 million..

Just remember you are selling the FC and that should be the focus of your sale at all times.

Selling Plot or FC leadership sounds pretty much the same thing. Both lines your pockets with a hefty profit and makes use of something that developers did not intend and cheats the system/community. Getting caught lining your pockets at either one I think SE would pretty much frown upon it. Now giving it to someone without benefit is ok. These are the very loopholes SE is trying to put the brakes on, so be wary.
