Come on guys....
Do you REALLY wanna get stuck in animation lock for some stupid flashy move? REALLY?
I think not.

Shortly after 1.21 is released....
NNNNNEEEEEERRRRRRDDDDD RAGE! Ifrit is killing me when i do my flashy long weapon skill, please make it quicker.

find me a mmo that dont have animation lock when use skill or cast spell, anyway just try to say that animation lock is not a big deal as long player can cancel the cast/skill in a easy way

I'm just happy that it finally looks like we're hitting something with our weapon. All of our current weapon skills are just swinging our stuff around with no appearance of resistance from the enemy.

I seriously don't know why most of you guy/gals even play this game it really seems like most of you can never be pleased. Most of you probably don't even play tank. (most = ppl that have respond to this thread negatively) based on the animation it looks cool imo. My concern from the pics I've been seeing is that the sword looked too much like a great sword but the scale didn't look so bad in the animation.
I think animation lock wouldn't be a problem if it affected the enemies too. Why can someone move freely while being punched/slashed/stomped anyway?

looks good to me, can't complain.
better than swinging my sword around doing 360° turns.
i like the part where the PLD does a lil turn and spins the sword to then stab the enemy.
if it doesn't have a million flashing effects this'll look great in combat!
and if you're afraid of animation lock, then time your skills with those of your enemy, i guess you can't do awsome moves like this and still move around freely, this isn't an action combat RPG.
