    My personal suggestion would be to hold off for the Endwalker expansion's introduction of Ishgardian housing (and new plots to go with) before focusing on housing. The current supply cannot keep up with demand, so trying to get an FC house is gonna be prohibitively difficult until then.

    I missed it in my first posting, too, but OP is from Twintania EU. It and Spriggan are actually the only two servers worldwide with consistently available and devalued housing. Our OP will likely never know the struggle of fighting a crowd for a house.

    Ishgard housing is 10-14 months away, too, so that will be a long wait.
