It's not unlike men claiming they can't even talk to women lest they get "#MeToo'd", which really just says they don't understand how to treat women with respect.

However, I highly recommend you read the page for Prohibited Behaviour in Final Fantasy XIV. I understand that some parts may be vague, but it's to allow them to use their discretion when applying disciplinary actions. If you're not sure if something is safe to say, don't say it. What's that one line from Bambi? "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all"?

I disagree with your assumption. Cancel culture is an actual problem in our culture. It has no room for forgiveness and redemption. Real people who want to grow and change are denied that change, and basically told to die on the rock they got stuck on.

In reality it is rare when a person's behavior or opinions become so dangerous that they have to be canceled. The American political system I think we can all agree is a great example. Without getting into an out of topic argument, I just want to say that many people who were committing crimes deserve 100% what is coming to them, but something someone said who has absolutely no political power, or any impact in the world? I don't think that is nearly justified. For the record I know for a fact I haven't gone on any rants or said anything about any minorities. I am LGBT myself, so I'm highly doubtful I was saying anything non PC, but again times have changed and our internet culture is incredibly sensitive these days. Could of been something I said for all I know.
