Which, while I understand the want for female hroth to have minimal sexual dimorphism in a game that's really atrocious about it and would not mind such... But, speaking honestly, as much as I love my character I really hate how I have to fight to get a lot of glamours looking okay on him because of the above features, lmao.
It feels kind of cheap when you see two characters of two different races standing next to each other and you realise one is just the other with fur. However I understand why they do it, and it is probably why Hrothgar are hunched over a bit.

I'm not sure what you consider extreme or atrocious but at least every M/F pair we have so far looks like they are from the same species. There are games out there where the Male is very bestial and the female is a human with different ears and a tail, like taking a Male Hrothgar and Female Miqo'te and calling that a race. It's an interesting idea, but that isn't why they do it. In FFXIV If someone wants a pretty human or almost human girl they got plenty of those options.
