This is an issue as well. I am interested in trying the hair on my various characters but there's a relatively low chance that it will look good on them, and it's not a chance I'm willing to pay 12 million gil just for curiosity.

Honestly, if it's 15m now imagine what it'll be like in a year when no. one. is running it. You invested in the glamour stonk market. You're going to have an option for a future outfit most people could only dream about.

It might look bad on your character now, but who knows what fashion has in store for the future.

I always assumed it was made for, and would look best on miqo'te (female) rather than other races. I still want it, but I'm more invested in the mount (to collect), I want the hair just to have, and then to sell mostly.

It took me 32 runs to finally get that....Only over 200 more to go(for the relics)...maybe I'll see the hair.

Only ran it 15 times but in that I got 1 chess piece and 1 music scroll. Yet when I look them up the chess piece is selling for 100g and the scroll about 15k.
I thought they seemed pretty rare lol
Haven’t seen anything other than that tho.
Every other chest I’ve opened in those 15 runs was silver coins and a few notes.
