Instead of cutting Ultimate from 5.5 why not cut bozja?

Thing is we have to consider the rework of Dragonsong Ultimate while EW is on the approach which will cause a lot of delays to get it ready for EWs stat squishing, including UCOB/UWU/TEA. I can understand the basis of stalling Dragonsong ultimate for EW stat squishing. Reworking every mechanic possible without the SB/SHB stat levels.

I guess technically it isn't, it's shifting the goalpost. Getting the 2nd ShB ultimate in 6.1 means you're most likely not gonna get the 2nd Endwalker ultimate until 7.1... and so on.

I feel like that becomes a semantic argument. If the second ultimate of each expansion is pushed to the next one from now on, then in practical terms it really just means that Shadowbringers lost an ultimate by being the only expansion with an ultimate to not get two. Not that I'm bitter at them about the situation, they gotta do what they gotta do and covid screwed with everybody.

Don’t be silly. Far more people enjoy bozja than even think about ultimate. Barely any players legitimately do ultimate, most just buy it from Gil selling sites.

Bozja is also tied to relics and actual story, cancelling chunks of it would impact wherever the story is going with it. Where as Ultimate is more standalone content that doesn't impact the lore.

It's fair to be disappointed that it got pushed back. But honestly if something had to give, it makes sense to me for Ultimate to be one of the first things to get delayed.

Trolling doesn't work when it is so obvious, but I'll bite for a second.

It's this kind of trivializing and parodying of genuine topics like the vague delay of Ultimate from .3 > .5 (which it is) which makes people unwilling to agree with you on a level of principle. Probably the most 'toxic' behavior too since it only makes people all the more reluctant to even listen on the offset genuine topics that do arise like this one, so, well done!
