Not to mention “I’ll be here if you need me” could be tied to Hythlodaeus’ quote “In time of greatest need, should you wish upon it with all your heart, it will surely answer to your call”. Not Magus Sisters related, but the shirts hint at interesting things.I would have to kinda agree on this. So his shirt is "Death" stating "I'll be here if you need me". So when you think of the magus sisters, they are an aeon or summon technically that you were able to use. This could fall in with the "I'll be here if you need me". As for "Death" itself we associate a scythe. Cindy uses a scythe. Also here is a snip of "lore" ---
"Magus Sisters may be a reference to the Moirai, often known in English as the Fates. The Moirai were the three incarnations of destiny—Clotho (spinner), Lachesis (allotter) and Atropos (literally 'unturnable' but metaphorically 'inflexible' or 'inevitable'—i.e. death)"
Also the Magus Sisters first appearance was FFIV. And what is Endwalker based off of heavily? FFIV. Where do you first fight the Magus Sisters? In the Tower of Zot or in FFXIV instance - one of the Spires that Fandaniel constructed. Although in FFIV it says the Tower of Zot is only accessible by the "Enterprise" because it is speculated to be floating in the sky (Or maybe on the moon?) As for the "Enterprise", in the Endwalker logo that "ship" or w/e it is that we see could be the "Enterprise" we use.
The difference between the Bugs shirt and the CoB shirt is that bugs was hinting at a race that a lot of people were requesting while this shirt would be hinting at only a summon. Yea summon can be exciting but yoshi-p has never hinted at a summon as a shirt before so there's no reason to assume he would now.
We have had a expansion in game that hinted at a weapon before it was shown it was shadow bringers with thancreds gunblade, We didn't know what it was exactly but it was shown. We've also never had them have to cancel all three fanfests before because of a pandemic. Without the pandemic we might have already known what the second job is if not we would have known by the end of this month what it was so yoshi-p hinting at the second job now makes sense since there are only gonna be 2 events, the one we just had and the one in may. If anything the concept art is a hint that they will be the boss of that dungeon.
If they have to get rid of scythes for a new scythe job they would have to also get rid of hatchets since we already have an axe job WAR.
We kinda already used that quote in 5.3 when we were sent to the chrysalis and called hades to get us back to fight Elidibus so there's no reason to hint at it again. Which add's more credence to the Death/reaper related job

We are the fourteenth, The Seat of Azem. We are travelers of the stars. I don't think anything in here would "Hint" at a death/reaper related job.

Now I'm doing this to "reach" but just for the sake of it since you said you can't see anything. We are the fourteenth, The Seat of Azem. We are travelers of the stars. I don't think anything in here would "Hint" at a death/reaper related job.

Hades - ruler of the underworld
Azem - charon / thanatos, friend to Hades.
It's freaking perfect lol.
To carry that on, there are mentions of traveling far and wide, to catch them al... wait wrong line, traveling far and wide and being a shepherd. Repears, or to refer generically psychopomps, would well fit within that as shepherd travelers. Reapers are travelers and shepherds, guiding lost souls. Although if we were going for greek gods I might talk about Nyx, mother to those Fates and Thanatos, linking Azem to Charon is a bit harder than to suggest Nyx.
A symbol of Nyx is stars on the black.
"Herein I commit the chronicle of the traveler. Shepherd to the stars in the dark. . . . " -Azem
Stars in the dark.. souls? REAPER!?!?!
"ALIENS!"
lol. Like I said I did some reaching for you, so if you call it that I'll accept, but you said you couldn't see anything and maybe now you can see potential hints here and there?![]()

The problem with associating events that take place in ShB as having to do with the new job, is that this job will be available to ALL at level 70. Sage, like SAM, RDM, GNB, and DNC can be started 20 levels under cap from a city zone available to all without having to worry about progress in the MSQ. I don't see why the 2nd of the new jobs would be any different. The quest NPC for the job will also be in ARR zones for the 70-80 quests and won't be attached to anything that directly ties into the MSQ. I don't think SE will be giving up the twist to players who have outsped the level requirements or who choose to start ShB as one of the new jobs.

Not really though. . . The job doesn't have to strongly tie into Azem's lore like some sort of canonical "this is Azem's job, you're doing LITERALLY the job he had", some other culture can teach it. I was merely pointing out how Azem could have some traits that point, ish, to psychopomps. Although if working with Azem directly I'd want to talk about Nyx rather than something lower like Charon. Especially since Nyx can have some relation to the moon, has even more interesting tidbits of lore and implications to the relation to Hades (and the other 'gods'), and then which adds even further layers of O.o o.O?!The problem with associating events that take place in ShB as having to do with the new job, is that this job will be available to ALL at level 70. It's not like you'd just call the job "Nyx" "Thanatos" or something, and then have people draw super direct comparisons to Hades when they get to that point in the story. Like how you can see Summoner magic is really creation magic but you don't ruin the creation magic plot bit later in the game by doing it at level 30.
IF (huge if) say this was true (Azem is a soul shepherd in a sense, which kind of fits really, given his special is to call friends from afar), then if SE wanted to label a job with that power as a manifestation of Azem they could do that much later when it was safe to do so. It doesn't ruin anything so long as you.. just do it right.
Your issue would be an issue if SE was hyper blatant about it, so... don't be.. lol. Then again the point of the post you quoted was I just wanted to say if you 'wanted' Azem could have hints of a psychopompth-like nature.
Also as Rymi64 points out they weren't trying to say the quote will come around to be used again, more that the quote was already used and to kind of extract it from the conversation as a resource point.
So really I'm just here having a blast connecting dots everywhere and seeding chaos (get it.. Nyx.. chaos.. eh..eh okay bad joke), because.. wEEeweeeEEEeee. Although I still think the shirts have nothing to do with magus, that just seems like a terrible use of 'shirt power'. Especially since we've already decent hints at such a concept, if it is one, via the Ganesh-Cindy a part of another art work.

I'm talking about the shirt not the quoteWe are the fourteenth, The Seat of Azem. We are travelers of the stars. I don't think anything in here would "Hint" at a death/reaper related job.
