A request for your constructive suggestions on Bozja 5.45

I really wish I didn’t have to worry about stockpiling essences. If I clear DR or Castrum, I should ideally walk away with more than what I use. Otherwise I’m incentivized to not use anything at all, which just has a horrible ripple effect on the parties as a whole.

Certain essences drop only in Castrum. I'm hoping they increase the amount of those in the hotpatch along with other meaningful incentives. You can buy them on the MB but they're certainly not cheap and I would like to get more in zone.

Durubrum is an awful lot of fun and using essences and other actions are a really interesting part of the experience. I ran DB on Spriggan yesterday morning and the DPS was incredible. Later that day on another run on Crystal the DPS was terrible and it's cause people were not taking advantage of the buffs these actions provide.

I had a run the other day where I was the only tank, and my friend who queued with me was the only healer... in the entire instance.
Despite several deaths and probably several depleted Lost Arises, we still cleared it in no time at all, skipping some phases of some of the bosses.

Intersting enough I blew an essence when we loaded in during one run and found there was no tank in the group. We all had to leave.

Damn. There's no essence to increase enmity generation then I take it. I've only really used the tank ones though I know there's essences that essentially give DPS/healers the same HP and defence as a tank, but that obviously doesn't mean you can tank without the mitigation skills for tank busters and some way of holding aggro.

I use Essence of the Templar, Lost Raise and Lost Protect. I always heal the raid. In the weak dps raid i had to ask if anyone had Bravery cause they weren't using it. Some then did and continued to.

You can use essences and other lost actions to try and act like a tank, but there's no real replacement for tank busters. They still one shot, or nearly one shot a non tank. After a certain point the pain and mettle loss isn't worth it.
