Male Viera as a playable character! show your support

I mean, they did outright say Viera and Hrothgar would see updates and all this time we got nada, which is also frustrating. A hard yes or no doesn't really mean much when things come up and throw a wrench in the works and they just stop communicating.

So it's probably wise they keep their mouths shut until they can actually deliver. :')

Completely agreed. I don't see male viera anytime soon. It's just not realistic to expect it.

Yes, maybe they should just confirm they're doing male Viera and female Hrothgar and then never mention it again, until the servers shut down they'd still technically be in the right as long as they never gave a time frame.

It's not the end of the world but it's just not a good look.

Making one model with one set of armor requires all but a small fraction of work that goes into making a fully playable and module with armor model.

Having a NPC would be something and I would be all for it.

Yeah but as much as you wouldb e all for it you have to consider that as far as I'm aware, you have no intentions on playing male viera nor a neccesarily high desire for their inclusion. In regard to the players who do feel strongly for whatver reason about them, having them be in the game but not playable would feel like a spit in the face, or salt in the wound, like 'Ok guys I know you cant play them but just LOOK HOW COOL THEY ARE!' so I am very esceptical they would ever do something along those lnes, espcially considering whenevr weve seen an npc of a enw requested or hinted race (yugiri and fran) the race has then been added

Not going to lie that sounds like a personal issue regarding expectations over anything else. That being said if they were a manlet or bigchungus I would play as one in a heartbeat. Either way if they add an NPC I will welcome it since I am curious as to what their vision is.

I do see your point I just cant imagine people wouldnt react like that. Personally, to me, it would be a double edged blade, since we would know what they are but we would see them yet not be able to *be* them. Overall, afer seeing the disaster the hrotgar reveal was, I would bet theyre quite catious regarding this topic, so if they add them as an npc its likely theyll state its only an npc thing before hand

I have no idea why suddenly so many ppl coming here seem to think we are again in a 5.0 situation, ppl are just asking for a feature and debating about it, also quite politely and in a civil way lately, theres no one who has said thisi s the strew that broke the camels bakc, and I for one know im going to enjoy the next expac greatly for the most part, but the suggestion forums are a place for, well, suggestions, so thats what we are doing, suggesting the devs add a higly requested feature

Because they need to be toxic and can't be so in a different thread since they would be swallowed by the positivity caused by the announcement.
As a reminder, people are pretty mad at Bozja and Savage, go visit those threads. This is a SHOW YOUR SUPPORT thread and some people seem rather oblivious to that fact or simply enjoy trying to tease others.
