The way OP has formulated or should I say expressed themselves is very poor and immature, true, but guess what. People love drama, no one wants to see a rational and honest discussion these days. People seem to take their own frustration out on everyone else these days irrespectable of the consequences this has on a grander scale. This happens all the time. We lose content we like, and someone has to shove their boot in our mouths. I understand the frustration OP has, even though worded poorly, intentional or not.

Now Ultimate is on the noose. While casuals are bathing in content, we are losing way more and I suppose this is the reason for all this desperation.
The whole problem is the "us against them" mentality I keep seeing, it's stupidly dividing the playerbase. Also you say that hardcore players have nothing but what is the 48-man savage? That's certainly not casual content.

The dev team have obviously had to prioritise due to covid and a lack of resources and the dev team obviously have data to help them decide which pieces of content to prioritise and what parts of the team can do what. The same people creating Farmville :FFXIV Edition would not be the same people developing Ultimate.

Anyway it is the same with all MMO's. If you go to any of their forums (WoW, ESO etc) it is the same with people bitching, complaining and whining.
