


PS2 could not compete with what computers could do. Comparing FF11 on pc to FF11 on PS2 is like comparing Nukes to Fire crackers. FF11 looked like garbage on the PS2. Plus PS3 version isnt going to be a port.We're quite sure what it is at this point. We have seen the PS3 version and subsequent PR damage controls of "PS3 is hard to work with, we have to scale back...really!"
We have to face the fact it's going to have be taken down a peg or dozen because of console ports, like FF11 did.
That...tells us nothing we already don't know. Mincing words isn't going to make the situation any better. A port is just a branch of the main code, which is ps3 port.
And both programing and design continually will have to be maintained for the sake of "fairness". The drama of FF11 proves how even the most little things can change to epic flames.
That's why FF11 has such a static UI, and why FF14 will be hindered the same way.
This is not just a PC game, and can not be treated with the same ideas.
