I would like to see the devs get back to giving us frequent status updates as to what is going on so we can develop reasonable expectations. If they know early on they will not be able to do separate events, let us know and why. It will suck when they say something has to be cut, but we will know as soon as they do and not get surprised at the last minute. They did a good job when telling us about ARR but slowly backed off. I’m not asking for one hour updates or anything like that but rather a paragraph of two every month. Something, anything...

In that same thought, I don’t think I have seen a community moderator in our forums for so long that I don’t even know their names anymore. Even Blizzard does a better job engaging their forms community.

I knew they weren't likely to go back and redo all the old hat options for this race when I chose it but it hurts that they choose to exclude us on models moving forward. It says we aren't enough of a priority to make a version of these things for.

I get that due to covid and having to go into expansion-making-mode they have to cut down on some of the fluff content but they really should of thought about adding headgear that two races can't wear. >x>
I think that instead of the cap, they should of made the headpiece just a big heart floating above our character's head, that way everyone could wear it. :B

Covid isn't really an excuse for deliberately choosing something you know very well that two races cannot use. The hat is just a rehash of an already existing hat...but they could have done that with literally any existing item in the game. But they chose a hat -_-

The judge armor was the last straw for me, personally. I switched from viera yesterday. It's unacceptable to me that viera were the only ones left out of that very iconic gear, but they can fix some random dungeon helmets and the hood from one of the nier raids to fit. I was finally 100% satisfied with how my character looked for once but I'm fed up with us getting left out every time some cool new hats/helmets or hairstyles come out.

God I hope they'll announce something good for Hrothgar/Viera players on the 5th. The constant radio silence throughout this expansion has been irritating to say the least.

All they had to do was grab one of the dozens of NPC animations that maybe, somehow, could be thematically related to the valentoines/little ladies event and everyone would have been happy.
Instead they add a heart to an already existing hat. A hat that a large chunk of the playerbase can't even wear, and called it a day.

This is not "covid makes things difficiult and we are working on the expansion", this is just dumb decission-making.

This. Not putting in the effort of giving Viera, THE ICONIC RACE OF IVALICE, the ability to wear those also iconic Judge helmets from Ivalice was just pathetic. They’ve clearly been able to do it (Check some of the recent helmets in dungeons like the tank helmet in Heroes Gauntlet) so why the hell wouldn't they put the effort in for this case?!

What annoys me the most is this is a win-win for SE. The more frustrated the player base gets with Viera/Hrothgar being given barely any care, the more people will Fantasia back to older races, giving them more money for their incompetence. Pretty disgusting if you ask me.
