I also liked the feeling of being so weak on arrival and all the enemies seeming dangerous, even the bozjan plants, then some time later I feel really strong.

I didn't get that feeling really, but then I wasn't confident about what to do with all the lost actions. But the fact that you don't get any stronger against enemies by ranking up feels strange.
