The glamour there sucks, the rewards suck, people generally actually like a lot of the content that's there. Part of the popularity, the amount of people doing it, is that players are using it for leveling, however. The problem with judging content's popularity by how many people are doing it is that there is no indication of why they are doing it, especially when it is invariably incentivised with exclusive rewards.
Are people doing Bozja because they enjoy it, or because they're worried about getting locked out of relic progress without it? Are they just here for the exclusive, untradeable glamour and hating every minute of it?
I have to wonder how the balance of people doing content would look if everything gave the same kind of currency and all the rewards went into a single shop. What content would people actually choose to do when they're not being railroaded into specific content for specific rewards?

Without digging through every page, a short search through Eorzea Collection would suggest that people disagree that the glamour sucks. The mage coats in particular have over a page of glamours each.

And yes, people using it for levelling are going to make it more popular of course, because efficiency. Why just gain EXP through dungeons when you could be earning EXP and mettle and relic crystals?
I really really did enjoy Bozja. I know I’m not evidence of every player but personally it was one of my favourite zones. The problem with judging content's popularity by how many people are doing it is that there is no indication of why they are doing it, especially when it is invariably incentivised with exclusive rewards.

I’d say i can’t really see a reason to stay there as I’m not levelling alts and I got everything I wanted from it, but as to the time I spent there, I had a blast asides from frustration over castrum.
The story and characters are really good and the cutscene after castrum is right up there with some of the best the game had to offer. I also liked the feeling of being so weak on arrival and all the enemies seeming dangerous, even the bozjan plants, then some time later I feel really strong.
It might not be for everyone but I’d be happy for more.
I’ve glamoured and dyed the aiming set, minus switching out the boots for something that covers the odd thing on the trousers. It looks absolutely fantastic. A bit ugly undyed though.
I didn't get that feeling really, but then I wasn't confident about what to do with all the lost actions. But the fact that you don't get any stronger against enemies by ranking up feels strange.
I think they wanted to keep the place feeling a bit dangerous. I think they went slightly overboard though. As we ranked up we should have gotten stronger to some degree, like a permanent stat buff or something. I don't know, it was kinda strange to me too.
Can't fault people for trying to make the best out of bad glams.Without digging through every page, a short search through Eorzea Collection would suggest that people disagree that the glamour sucks. The mage coats in particular have over a page of glamours each.

Yes it does a bit.. but I do feel the sense of progression is there. I guess it just comes with being more experienced with the zone but I definetly felt more secure at 15 than at 5.
Lost actions still don’t really mean that much to me, I have an aoe heal which is nice, and I took Death actually, it’s quite fun. As to the other stuff I barely use it.
Level 15 is a big deal in Borzja. You no longer have to worry about mettle loss as much, you are locked in at max level. Currently I am down about 100k mettle, I will earn it back sooner than later. I am not to worried - and that feeling comes with being level 15.Yes it does a bit.. but I do feel the sense of progression is there. Lost actions can help quite a lot, and speed whatever you are doing in there up regardless of what it is. However, I personally do not waste many of them in general content, like regular CE or FATE farming. Unless you intend on spending a long time as a specific class, more efficiently farming mobs, doing Castrum* (if you ever can), or duels they aren't necessarily needed.
