Can we talk about how Thancred is noticeably older but Alphinaud and Alisae still look like children? Are they immortal?

As i said, its likely to be an unpopular opinion and i would like to add more. Though i very much doubt you look like any of the current female Miqos. It is okay if most people want to play young girls (i guess), but there is also people who like Final Fantasy 14, but would also like to be able to play a grown looking Character thats not a Roe male or Elezen male. I think everybody can respect that without going in a insultish direction.

Something something time bubble.
I'm all for more options, but it would be a little odd to go full-on grandparent age. Imagine Matoya jumping around like a dragoon.
Actually, no, do that. It's hilarious.

Cid only looks old because of the pure white hair and glorious beard.
There's something about Elezen aging super slowly, because of their longer lifespan, and so looking like kids much longer. Besides, apparently they're still 16-17 and yeah as said time bubble.
As for Thancred, remember that he spent 5 years on the first, rather the 1 the twins spent there, so that's how he aged more, plus something something about not being able to rely on aether to keep looking younger. But yeah, I also agree he suddenly looks much older than he should be.
I wasn't really insulting, I'm just puzzled at your idea of looks and ages. I also don't wanna play "young girls", in fact if anything I could consider an insult to my characters having them considered that.As i said, its likely to be an unpopular opinion and i would like to add more. And no, I don't look like a miq, in fact I don't have huge cat eyes, furry ears and all that. In fact, it's even harder to compare a miq face with a human one considering how hugely different proportions are.
Somehow, the white hair don't seem to be the reason, if you look at the cutscenes from when he was younger he always had those and they didn't really age him. I thik it's indeed the beard, but also he seems to have some pretty deep wrinkles under his eyes.

Elves in fiction often have supernaturally long lifespans.
In FF14 Elezen only live 1/10th to 1/5th longer than other races.
The aging slower thing shouldn't make that much of a difference, especially at their age.

Can we get more beard options and the stubble that was promised.
I'm not exactly making it up, it came up quite often in discussions about it.
But if you want a source, looking it up very quickly this is from official race description: "with lifespans one- or two-tenths again as long as their fellow races, their physical maturity is somewhat delayed. It is not uncommon for Wildwood children to look up to their Hyuran friends in their early teens, only to rapidly outstrip them around the age of twenty. "
This is for Wildwood but should apply to all Elezen, if you want more sources I'm sure you can find them, i just did a quick google.

(Emphasis mine)
They age 1/10th to 1/5th slower.
That quote was pulled from the Encyclopaedia Eorzea, which I literally pulled out to check before making my post.
At the most generous (1/5th slower) this means that when a Hyur is 50, a Elezen born the same day will effectively be 40.
Someone aging 1/5th slower than another will make next to no difference at Alisae and Alphinaud's age.
"Should be"?There's something about Elezen aging super slowly, because of their longer lifespan, and so looking like kids much longer. Besides, apparently they're still 16-17 and yeah as said time bubble.

Thancred was 32 iirc at the start of ARR. Yes, time bubble something, but even if we just take that age and add the 5 years he spent in the first on top of that, he doesn't look older than he should with 37. And now consider that you don't exactly get through everything happening from ARR to ShB in a day and he would realistically be somewhere around his 40s. He still looks really young ingame while the cinematic got him just right for a man his age imo.
Btt:
I'm all for more mature options. Escpecially midlanders, both male and female, could use an option that looks more mature, perhaps even a bit rougher. And more actual beards please.
