So clearly you never read the EULA. They can not only put you in the gaol, they can suspend or terminate your account at any time without having to refund you a dime. Every online game has a similar clause in their user agreement.

it's first time i enconter this situation
this fine yesterday,but when i log on my FFXIV character
i find myself in jail,mordion gaol,why?
i didn't do anything against the EULA and did't get any warning from GM
i'm in Mana-Titan, i just reported been kicked by some japanese for they think my japanese is not as good as they so i shouldn't enter JP only party. and why i am the one being punished??

is anyone kind enough of to tell me where and who to find to solve this?and how long must i wait in mordion gaol

Your character does not just end up in jail. You did something to deserve this.

You can end up in there if you got into a spat with someone who was trolling or being ignorant, and you may have said something you shouldn't have in defense of yourself or someone else, and they decided to report you instead. In those cases they usually just review what happened with you, tell you to just report and don't do that, slap on the wrist, and let you go.

In those cases they usually just review what happened with you, tell you to just report and don't do that, slap on the wrist, and let you go.

You said it yourself ‘you may have said something you shouldn’t have’.

In general the only way you get in trouble in life is by doing something wrong, or by the people ‘arresting’ you making a mistake.

If you break TOS ‘defending yourself’ you’ve still broken TOS, whether understandable or not.
