What I don’t really get here is what was that healer & the others doing to not be able to sustain everybody’s HP + you’re actually dying to auto attacks. (really?)
/comfort
I suppose Titan (Hard) is still quite notorious.
Running my lala alt through Alexander as a gunbreaker. On A9, I had three people telling me I was getting their comms just for actually picking up the adds. Got four comms out of it.
He has the occasional tankbuster and I guess it's hard to solo heal when you don't really know your kit behond succor spamming as a sch

This sounds like an all too common case lately of the healers not being able to handle the content they signed up for. Maybe if they had been able to keep people alive you wouldn't have had to use your emergency button.I was tanking a Titan (Hard) on trial roul where the healer died at the very start on both pulls from standing on cheese pizza.
At some point I popped Living Dead because the only healer wasn't able to keep up with everyone's hp and I was only 1 or 2 autoattacks from dying.
We ended up wiping after everyone but me and the other tank died, and I got told to not use Living Dead because they can't solo heal it, and also because according to their logic it's better for me to die than it is to live 10s longer and stress the healer out
I really don't get why I'm not allowed to use my invuln, I mean yes healing Living Dead sucks but I was mitigating whenever I could and I was dying to autoattacks, not actual mechanics![]()
Exactly my thought—or everybody should stop standing on the bad stuffs.
Also, speaking of standing in bad stuffs...
Trial Roulette: Ramuh (Hard)
A SAM died 4+ times cause apparently they really love to stand close to the boss’ front/near main tank. Somebody mentioned it after their 3rd death but to no avail, still hugging the santa claus upfront.
Is it so hard to understand the reason behind a tank’s attempt to make mobs/boss’ point their backside to the rest of party...
Meh, just had a moron of a tank that kicked the healer for "doing nothing" right before the endboss of the Gauntlet.
Looking at my Parser of Evil™ (healer did more damage than the tank and nobody died etc.) I disagreed but as usual other people don't ask WHY s/o is supposed to be removed and just nod it off.
Sucks that I, who was DNC at the time, wasn't able to prevent it. :/
That glorious beard tho.Exactly my thought—or everybody should stop standing on the bad stuffs.

I find when that's the case, it's usually due to the healer not having an appropriate weapon equipped. Such as a healer I saw in Puppets' Bunker a week or so ago(thankfully not my healer, but still in there the whole time) that was using a Scaeven, not even augmented, AST globe.
I did have a very slow run of Mt Gulg last night. Party was GNB(me), a WHM, DRG, and BRD. First pull - only did a double as per my usual to test the waters with the party - and realised things were dying slow. Decided to look at the gear of the party. WHM was using65+75+ gear mostly, with the odd Augmented Scaeven. DRG similarly equipped. Then there was the BRD. Oh the BRD. Augmented Scaeven weapon, and regular Scaeven everything else. Even after they got gear(first two chests were 100% aiming gear, which they got!) they stayed in the Scaeven gear.

That's exactly what that is.
It would be a combination of both, though I think Titan (hard) has a decent amount of room wide aoe(?). I'd say this is more of an issue with the healer. I know I've solo healed it before, because it's pretty common for the other healer to get permad.. actually pretty common for several people to be permad..

WHM | RDM | DNC
Do you mean Lv75+ gear for the WHM and DRG? Lv65 is Stormblood leveling gear and you can't even get into Mt Gulg if you mostly have that. If they somehow did get in, that would make the BRD the best geared of the bunch.I did have a very slow run of Mt Gulg last night. Party was GNB(me), a WHM, DRG, and BRD. I wouldn't bother equipping dungeon drops inside the dungeon either (even from i390 to i418 two pieces would improve overall stats by only 2-4% depending on which pieces they were). And if this was not their first class to Lv80, it's plausible that they might not have run any of the previous dungeons. I've leveled classes from Lv70 to Lv80 in mostly Scaevan gear, because honestly the difference is not that great, player skill matters more and most of the time I get synced down anyway.
