I...don't see the issue with wanting or having a refund option. No, Desynthesis is not a viable option when it comes to wasting current tomes. Does the system check with you before you make a purchase? Yes. Does it double check? Also yes. But mistakes happen, and I think it would be great for people to have a way to get their tomes back to purchase what piece of gear they want. I do think, however, that the refund should be forfeit after a certain amount of time has passed, or if the person went into combat therefore increasing the spirit bond.
I don't get this community sometimes. Other games have a refund window, where you can sell accidental purchases to return your currency. It works fine. It's a simple QoL feature that could quite possibly be added and like many other QoL features, we argue against having it?
FF14 is the only community I've seen that fights against QoL. It's strange.
