I finished emerald weapon and the quests afterward... Didn't see a letter from any of the related characters in that storyline.

Nobody said there was. But the other side stories that got letters are all completed, so there's a pattern.

The letter you get from completing Eden gives me hope that we did not miss the festival to celebrate the return of the night sky. I remember it building up to that throughout the Eden quest, then nothing. perhaps it is being saved for 5.5 as a conclusion to the First's story.

I think so. I cannot believe that Ryne is done as a character and that they would leave her out of the final patch of the expansion where she was a major character.

I always thought they’d bring her back with them as a scion but now I think she might play the role Lyse played in SHB and take a backseat. She’s still a trust character so we’ll have to see. But yeah, we need her to do her festival

I didn’t actually care for the letters too much and struggled to remember who some of them were from/what they meant but I thought the overall Christmas storyline was really beautiful with the snowmen. And I loved the music. Very nice little event.
