Expecting someone to speak English is considered small minded.
And even though we learn each others language in school its not to the level that we can speak or write it fluently.
No, Meleena is right.
We never asked for a German or French server.
Most German and French players I met ingame were able to communicate in English quite well, and even if Server #10 had only German and French players, they'd STILL have to communicate with each other, and guess which language will be used...![]()
Right about what ? that everyone in Europe should speak english ?No, Meleena is right.

I don't understand why you are arguing about a server you aren't interested in, if you are French or German and don't want to be part of that server the option is pretty clear, is it not ?
And no chances are that server 10 would become segregated, linkshells that are mainly german speaking and linkshells that are french speaking, sure they may have to group up for XP parties but you don't even need to talk in an XP party.
Although it is more popular in German speaking countries (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) to learn English, not all are necessarily fluent enough to enjoy conversation or speak accurately/quickly in battle.
Speaking English by French people is still not very common (even among young adults, even those who are avid video gamers), so they would definately enjoy an area where they can speak comfortably/accurately/quickly in their native tongue.
You had be surprised at the amount of people from Europe that don't speak english.
And what Jinko said.

Shockingly I havent seen one other Irish person post. I think I may actually be the only one!![]()
I will go where my LS goes. If it is 10 fantastic see you all there. But it is kinda unlikely to be.
But I hope you all get more reasonable playing hours if you can get them![]()
