In the PvP version Lustrate and Indomitability both have cooldowns that are shared and both have 3 charges. Using Dissipation eats 50 Faerie gauge to grant a stack of Lustrate and Indom and you gain Faerie gauge by using; Physick, Adloquium, Succor, Broil, and Biolysis.
What could happen is bring that portion over to the PvE version of Scholar.
Lustrate and Indom would have shared cooldowns with 3 charges. Energy Drain would become a generic short cooldown, not tied to anything, with 3 charges as well. Excogitation and Sacred Soil would become cooldowns no longer tied to Aetherflow. Their cooldowns being balanced around no longer being tied to Aetherflow.
Ruin, Ruin 2, Broil, Broil 2, Broil 3, Bio, Biolysis, Physick, Aldoquium, Succor and all the Fairy actions, including Embrace, would grant Faerie gauge on use. Fey Union would no longer use the Faerie gauge and would instead also be a generic cooldown that grants Faerie gauge.
*Aetherflow uses a portion of the Faerie gauge to grant a stack of Lustrate, Indomitability and Energy Drain. Aetherflow would upgrade into Dissipation. Dissipation would have it's cooldown reduced to 60 seconds and have it's effects lowered to 7% increased healing potency with a 10 second duration, to match it's lowered cooldown, and could have another effect that increases the damage of your next attack by whatever %, or whatever other non-healing and non-MP restoring bonus effect.
Ruin and Broil123 would have their cast times lowered to 1.5 seconds, or even 1 second, so you can weave and/or double weave all those cooldowns without clipping your gcd.
Could that possibly make Scholar too busy and a higher APM job? Probably. Which is something it seems Scholar mains are desperately wanting.
*Edit: I stepped away and forgot that Aetherflow and Dissipation would no longer have cooldowns. Instead their use is tied to how quickly the Faerie gauge builds up. Sacred Soil could become Scholar's MP restoration ability, upon its use it restores X amount of MP. Although MP is a discussion for another time (The MP costs of Broil, Glare and Malefic should, frankly, be removed)
