At least they do have some small animation, even if it's limited to when you jump or /dance.

I haven't bought them for all my characters yet but I dislike how they're attached to the middle of my back on my lalafell instead of between the shoulder blades.

Bought them just because I have MGP to burn, looked at them for about five minutes, then put them away in favor of my minions. Just not my thing. To be fair, I never use the umbrellas, either.

I kinda wish both the wings and umbrellas worked as gliders. Also, as tacky as they are, I'm surprised that many people despise the idea of having wings, 12 year old me would've kill for them lol

We don't really have many areas where using a glider would be that useful, regardless of flying's availability.

Getting the wings as a mount would have been better, though I understand they're trying to come up with ideas to make Fashion Accessories more interesting and many players had expressed a desire to have the wings separate from the glamour sets that current include them.

This kind of additions to the game makes me wonder
Why are we getting more fashion accessories and exploration mode instead of more content to do ?
Thinking back about 5.4, after doing the very easy new dungeon and the free trial, you can log off to come back only on savage prog days

i'm not judging people who like fashion accessories and running empty dungeons to take screenshot at all, i just hope we're not going towards a new expansion that will be poor in content but in a good looking packaging

The Wings, Umbrellas and all future Fashion Accessories are actually modified mounts not equipment or emotes.

Sure, but it's still a bit disappointing not to be able to do anything else but stand there and look pretty, especially for that price.

That being said, I'm not against having wings in the game, I love it. I actually wish there could be a type of mount like that one day lol
