DNC is a problem because it’s so thematically different from what a MCH/BRD would wear. It should really have got its own tier like DRG and NIN have.

This is the issue with classes sharing gear, especially for physical ranged DPS. The 3 classes have such different aesthetics that lumping them together will always result in one class getting something that suits it while the other 2 don't. I'd argue BRD and DNC have closer aesthetics being performers and all, though. The new Eden's striking/scouting chest piece reminded me so much of Lenne's top from FFX-2. Lenne sings and dances, doesn't she? Wouldn't it have made more sense to give that set to aiming instead for BRD and DNC?
