Vote for GNB Sounds

Personally I don't care either way about the sounds, but to say "please don't dismiss the opinion of players who want the old sounds back, even if you like the new ones." yet the people who do want the old sfx back have quite often ripped through the opinion of those that have an opinion different to this echo chamber of a thread. Some of the discussions I've read have been less than civil, and most of this I have seen from the side that want the old sfx back, as if they have been personally offended that someone prefers the new sounds.

So I think that it should extend to both sides tbh, not just those that prefer the new sfx. Do realise this is a FORUM, a place where discussions take place, so you can't have a discussion without an opposing side.

Indeed, not in this thread, but still not really what I would call "being neutral" or simply having a "different opinion" Also, I never attempted to police either side to try to have my views go unopposed, and I apologise if you felt this way. I was just inviting everyone, on both sides, to remain civil, which is harder to do when your opinion keeps getting dismissed, which is why I called that out specifically. I even said that debating in a constructive manner is totally fine, and I'm still waiting for solid arguments outside of "give it up and stop crying lol it has been a year" or "you can't even hear them", which do absolutely nothing to promote a constructive discussion. Blaming it on how the thread started and putting everyone in the same bag is pretty sad, and using that as an excuse for how you act with people here is even sadder. You ignored samuraipew7's message, but do you think it's normal that they got harassed just because they had an opinion?

I also fail to see how our complaining is even an issue. If you are unhappy with us "crying like little babies", why don't you just ignore the threads? Unless you have your own opinion about the sound effects too, of course, but that's not what I see in your posts. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to silence you here, I am just saying that you deliberately choose to go in those threads where people will obviously be passionate about this topic, and even biased for some, and then proceed to make fun and complain about them, instead of ignoring them. Hardly something I would call "civil".

Lastly, I get that it probably makes you feel powerful or superior to call us "OG sounders", but it mostly looks ridiculous and once again doesn't really do anything to promote a constructive discussion. And if you cannot understand why, I sadly can't help you.

With that said, I am done here, as I did not and still do not wish to engage into any drama.
