I would like to point out that Chemists weapon might not be a potion, but some type of firearm...what if it was dual pistols? What if they fused the spell gun idea?

There is precedent for that within the franchise like X-2's Gun Mage, and the FF Unlimited Anime. MCH even debuited as a Gunmage :P

Plus I think the Devs were prolly also aware of Blizzard's other IPs(Overwathc mainly) as a side effect of them taking notes on WoW and there is a character in OW that does sue bullets to heal.
