It's all Tenacity, and there were definitely at least some weapons with Accuracy on them previously. I don't think that your theory holds across all gear, as far as I can see.

This will just make the dps gap wider between DPS jobs and the rest. This game needs to get people engaged with tanking and healing again. Locking them out of desirable stats is not the answer. You just have to offer them something better.

Of course I don't want any stat locked out or removed without some sort of equal return in exchange. In the case for tanks, Tenacity could be buffed to a significant point where it can give the same gain as Direct Hit, equally for healers, Piety can have an offensive buff attached to keep in line.

Yes, it does sound like a means to force the stats down respective jobs throats, but just the fact that 61+ for tank gear and I believe 51+ for healing gear, Direct Hit is not a native sub stat.

Making adjustments as above to these stats may be a positive in the long run where both respective roles can stack significant amounts, as opposed to the hard limit determined by which gear still allows. Of course factoring in the need for extra Critical Hit to be melded, Sks/ Sps to reach desired GCD tier, the remainder is Direct Hit, with exceptions depending on tiers, in which case it may be one or two Determination melds.

Side note: I do agree with your point raised earlier for condensing Skill Speed and Spell Speed into Haste.

Augment Ironworks Magitek Sword, Burtgang, High Allagan Battle Axe and many other sub-i135 weapons all have Direct Hit where they once had Accuracy. With 3.0, Accuracy became an armor and accessory exclusive stat which is why you will find Direct hit all over i270 and lower Fending gear but not on any i135 or higher tank weapons.
