    It does not allow the unlocking of flying, it disables the already unlocked feature, and forces you to re-enable it.

    In a game that constantly changes with updates, there is need to provide reasoning for the inclusion of an arbitrary mechanic when there is demand and logical justification for its removal. The need to provide reasoning also arises when one claims there is a purpose to the system. No one has yet to provide any reasoning. I will concede that aether currents could remain in the game, unlinked to flying, if people want to continue travelling to nodes for no reason. But flying should not be disabled for uknown reasons after it has already been unlocked.

    There is need and demand to remove aether currents, or at the very least not disable flying once it is unlocked with the completion of ARR, and keep it unlocked for all expansion content thereafter.
