Please fix the “naked queueing” for Aliance Raids

I was perfectly willing to be civil but I guess if you cant I can point out how I'd wager clear buyers would have trouble with things like basic reading comprehension.

As Packetdancer pointed out the issue isn't that the OP (or really most of the people in the thread) hate the CT raids, they hate that their roulette results are being manipulated by lazy people to the result that they're seeing less variety in the content they're running.

I hope that clears things up for you, if not I would offer a lengthier explanation at some exhorbinant price since I'm sure it wouldn't be the greatest sum you've spent amirite?

I'd say the clearest sign that something is off in Alliance Roulette is that waiting for Ivalace takes up to an hour, and copied factory can take all night. Given the number of people going in, at least some should be qualifying.

Why do people want to run them? Other than for relic now I see no reason to run Invalice on my main or even my alts. Copied factory is still relevant because you need the coin for upgrades unless you do hunts and nuts. I'm actually queued for factory right now with a friend.

They can fix it by making a separate 70/80 alliance roulette with appropriate experience rewards. People will queue for it because it now has a reward associated with the time spent doing them.

You don't understand that the same way I don't understand how people can be ok with doing CT raids for whatever life spawn this game will have (probably daily). Next cap increase will be more of the same.

I will be happy with SE giving me the option to block one raid tier from alliance roulettes.

Most likely people will also game the ILvL to always get the first of the tree because ILvL makes it easier and faster. Since is one of the reasons certain players already drop ILvL low enough to also skip WoD from CT.

Honestly it's getting a bit creepy my dude, and maybe when you're responding to me alongside the creepiness you could address the very clear misunderstanding I pointed out in my post that you seem to have which is relevant to this thread. You also know very well why I'm referring to clear buyers.

Like by all means we can keep being passive aggressive back and forth whenever we encounter each other, cool! But are you going to acknowledge that your suggestion of "just queue specifically for the higher level raids" is entirely irrelevant to the topic at hand?

People aren't saying they specifically want something out of Ridorana, nor are they saying they specifically hate LotA - the complaint has been and remains that we would like the roulette to have a chance to pull from all relevant content and lazy people manipulating it and pulling us into CT raids is disrupting that.

Content is only interesting when it is new. The novelty quickly wears off, at which point if the content continues to demand my attention and any amount of mental effort without providing anything stimulating in return, it's just tedious and awful.

CT raids know they're old. They act like they're old. They require no real thought or effort or attention to succeed. You just go in, meme with people in chat while you smack some buttons, and get your stuff 20 minutes later or whatever.

Subsequent raids still want to pretend they matter. They want to at least require attention, but they haven't been interesting or fun since like a month after they were released. They offer nothing stimulating, and the only "benefit" to being like this is that there's an increased chance of wiping on bosses that already last unnecessarily long for mediocre rewards because every new alliance raid increases the number of strategies people have to remember even as they continue to do each individual fight less and less frequently.

I do it. And I have no shame whatsoever. When I do Alliance Roulette I want to be in and out, not suffer through SB or ShB raids. Sorry not sorry.

Well, Ms Legendary Dungeon Tank, the OP actually said that he specifically prefer the "later" raids because he likes the mechanics, environment, and the music. My suggestion of queueing for the specific raid is a direct response to his preference. If I want to do a certain raid, I queue for it. If I want to avoid an instance, I don't queue for it.

Because this is a video game, and I enjoy doing mechanics. I also prefer the environment and music of the later raids. Not everything has to be about ONE HUNDRED PERCENT MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY

Roulettes are optional. From a design standpoint, a roulette's purpose is to make it easier for players to find other players to play with when there's an instance they need for a story quest, for example, or if they just want to play a dungeon/trial/raid that they like. The rest of us are being paid in gils/tombstones for playing with these people in a roulette, with the clear understanding that the instance we get will be random based on what the majority of players queue for. It makes no sense to complain about not getting the desired instance in a roulette.
