Please fix the “naked queueing” for Aliance Raids

That doesn't fix the "roulette" only giving 3 of the potential raids the vast majority of the time.

People aren't generally complaining about not getting Orbonne because they want something from it, they're complaining about only getting the absolute oldest and most boring of the potential results.

This person prefers other later 24 man raids instead of the most commonly queued one which is LOTA. The solution would be to just queue for the raid you want. It just seems silly to queue 24 man alliance roulette knowing the most common one is LOTA and then complain when you get it. When I queue for a roulette I understand the instances will be randomly chosen for me based on everyone else queueing so I don't complain. Also, SE makes it very easy for people who don't get the instance they prefer. No one is forcing you to stay and complete the instance. You are allowed to leave, you just have to take the 30 minute penalty. So if you hate LOTA so much, there's always that option as well.

Because this is a video game, and I enjoy doing mechanics. I also prefer the environment and music of the later raids. Not everything has to be about ONE HUNDRED PERCENT MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY

As Packetdancer pointed out the issue isn't that the OP (or really most of the people in the thread) hate the CT raids, they hate that their roulette results are being manipulated by lazy people to the result that they're seeing less variety in the content they're running.

I hope that clears things up for you, if not I would offer a lengthier explanation at some exhorbinant price since I'm sure it wouldn't be the greatest sum you've spent amirite?

Honestly it's getting a bit creepy my dude, and maybe when you're responding to me alongside the creepiness you could address the very clear misunderstanding I pointed out in my post that you seem to have which is relevant to this thread. You also know very well why I'm referring to clear buyers.

Like by all means we can keep being passive aggressive back and forth whenever we encounter each other, cool! But are you going to acknowledge that your suggestion of "just queue specifically for the higher level raids" is entirely irrelevant to the topic at hand?

Well, Ms Legendary Dungeon Tank, the OP actually said that he specifically prefer the "later" raids because he likes the mechanics, environment, and the music. My suggestion of queueing for the specific raid is a direct response to his preference. If I want to do a certain raid, I queue for it. If I want to avoid an instance, I don't queue for it.

From a design standpoint, a roulette's purpose is to make it easier for players to find other players to play with when there's an instance they need for a story quest, for example, or if they just want to play a dungeon/trial/raid that they like. The rest of us are being paid in gils/tombstones for playing with these people in a roulette, with the clear understanding that the instance we get will be random based on what the majority of players queue for. It makes no sense to complain about not getting the desired instance in a roulette.

Correct, it is optional. That means people are free to queue for it or not queue for it. It's not your place to tell anyone they shouldn't be queueing. If they have a preference for certain instance, that's up to them and is not your business or my business.

It is a side effect of how level sync works. Some people don't like item level sync (see the Shiva Unreal thread about it) because either they want to feel powerful or because they want to feel their gear/melding choice matters.

And like I said, the issue people are having is not necessarily an issue that requires SE's attention to change the system. I would be fine with/love having ilvl requirement in roulette, but it's not really warranted.
