    Maybe a ring could work, seeing as we have two slots for them. But I think it would be a little cheap to be able to get a whole outfit of synced gear you don't need to upgrade until level 70/80.

    Yes I agree. Gear maintenance is a central part of games like this one and there should still be reason for all the other leveling gear to exist. Accessories are probably the best way to do it because you can't buy them from vendors a lot of the time.
