Maybe nothing wrong for personal reasons, just useless to change the shop's price. If people think it's overpriced, then they simply won't buy, but if there is enough people who buy, then from the shop's perspective, it's not overpriced.

So again, you can compare whatever you want, but if what you're comparing are not directly competing, then the comparison is only for you whether you want to buy or not, but it won't affect others or the shop's pricing if enough people are buying. And there could be enough people buying because there is no direct competition. The Online Store is the only store people can purchase items for their FFXIV characters. And item sold in other games' stores would be irrelevant to the FFXIV characters that can't use those (perhaps cheaper) items.
