A bit of a rant about Make It Rain and All Saints Wake

I just really wanted the Rainmaker hairstyle.. to have access or the option to obtain previous years awards would have just been gravy, as i didn't start until during 2019. I was under the impression when events repeat, last years items either return or end up on the mog store... i am now very big sad :'(

Generally they do - the things just added are from last year's Make It Rain (the sabotender emote) and All Saints' Wake (the circus ahriman).

The hairstyle is a weird thing in limbo that the devs seem to have forgotten about entirely. It's one of the few annual event items that ever got repeated, to my knowledge, and now it's just gone.

They had various hairstyles not on the mogstation, mounts, and even triad cards. Those could have easily just been brought back. What was stated on the site about previous event items might be the three machines for the house that I never saw or the one triad card I never saw, but only that? like this has to be some haunted trick right.... where is the treat or even the spirit.

I've never heard of MIR having exclusive mounts. Just discounts on the usual ones. The hairstyle was the only thing i was aware of being unique to the event.

I'm sure the devs have heard our anguished cries about that hairstyle and just don't care, ive been waiting patiently since i found out about it as a wee sprout :c

Wasn't meaning Make it Rain for the mounts just like all around the various events.

I'd have to check but I'm pretty sure they say phrase it to mean previous versions of that particular event. And it's only ever the minor stuff like seasonal magicked prisms anyway - never the big things. They always go to Mog Station as the new year's event releases. (So the passive-aggressiveness from some posters about "they didn't give us new stuff but still added things to MS" makes no sense because it's an item that already exists from last year's event, not something they've put new time into making, and they're not going to hold it back arbitrarily.)

The FFXV event will run again at some point and the car will be available then, not in conjunction with a different seasonal event.
