Cure 1 spam to bait free Cure 2 is something even seasoned WHMs does though?

I can honestly say that for most content, besides regen, I hardly touch GCD healing. Cure 1 isn't even on my hotbar unless I am running something under level 52. Cure 2 is easily 2% or less of my casts. The lions share of healing comes from Rapture, Solace, Assize, Regen, Asylum, Tetra and Bene.

As for the rest of the complaints about healers, well... healing, I'll remember not to next time you tanks miss your mitigation, get a tank buster in the face or you dps that decide that you like standing in aoes.

I am expected to heal and I do that, I dont tell you how to tank or dps.

as for a mount, I agree that adding in a 'special' mount for the healer snowflakes that need it to play healer would be even worse for the role in general than it is now. we hardly need even more people that cant play their chosen class let alone pick up healer just for yet another mount in their collection (and add to even MORE complaints about healers)

could healing be more "fun", thats fairly subjective. Could it be improved? of course. a mount however, is not an improvement, its just a new shiney.

Not enough. They need to actually fix the classes. I stopped healing completely once ShB released and it became apparent my previous favorite class SCH got butchered. Switched to tanking full time immediately and never looked back.

Who's telling anyone not to dps? The point of balance is a healer utilizing both as appropriate. The problem with a green dps is they dps to the detriment of the health of their party. The problem with curespammers is they have windows where it's safe to dps but choose not to use them. A balanced healer does both. They support the health of their party so their party can confidently do their jobs in the party, but assist the party with dps when the fight or party performance doesn't require healing.

Tying a mount to being a healer is just going to attract people to the role who only want the mount but don't actually want to be good healers. And people already look down on and doubt us enough as is.

I havent noticed the role being topfilled with awesome tanks...
