I'm actually unsubbing because of the situation with housing. It's the only part of this game I enjoy but I'm not sacrificing my health and time to click a placard for 14 hours. I'll play something else thanks. Maybe I'll come back if they get their housing in order.

Honestly, this is the metric that Yoshi will be looking at. Just setting one's sub to not renew - even if you restart it before the month is off - sends a factual message to SE.

I just wanted a plot and surprise as always tons of plots claimed by bots.. So they increase price of accounts they will sell.. amazing.. Cant wait to visit some areas and see all houses locked, without any decorations and just with aetheryte.. Why they just cant make something like floating island with own plot S/M/L? It won't get any action because they would lose many more subs from all the maintenance downtime required to redo the whole housing system from scratch. And that's not assuming they'd have to remake the whole coding framework of the game from scratch which would basically be months of the game being inacessible (and no, they won't keep the game up while essentially making a new game in the background, which would then take years to finish).

The system is here to stay, band-aids are the best you can expect (and the more band-aids they introduce, the farther away a whole new housing system goes anyway) and the only way it's changing is if they decide to do another Realm Reborn or just waiting for the next MMO.

Truthfully it was time to give up in heavensward. Too many apologists for SE allowing them to run with the system. They could have created an instance system with Shirogane and had it separate from the wards and now we will get another set of wards Ishgard. Again not taking into account the actual amount of subs.

Simply don't resub after the month has passed. That speaks louder than crying wolf. Why unsub when you are just going to resub before changes happens?
