Plan on giving it to a friend sorry but if you ask like around the game came out you could had got one maybe five or even more...Would there be a way to get it from you?
And also, to Fiosha and Shneibel, those codes were meant to be given away for free, not to be sold for personal profit, so in turn that could be a breach in the terms of contract/use if someone was to do that. If SE didn't want to give the "game away for free" they would not have made those passes
Buddy passes are retail activation codes, you add it to your SE account and get your 30 day free trial, then after that 30 days you start to get charged a sub if you dont cancel. I agree with the majority, I cannot see you getting one on here, because they are designed for us to give to friends and I hate to say it you or your friend are not my friends we arent even on the same server. It's actually like a 30 day trial of the game that just so happens to come with the game. As stated before though, why would anyone want to go out and spend money on something that they knew they didn't like when it first came out. It's completely reasonable that he doesn't wanna spend money on this until he plays to see it changed since when he played it back when it came out it was poop. The buddy passes are just that though, they are not meant to be resold for a personal profit but to be given away for people to play the game with. SE would not have made them if this was not the case.
If I got a request for my buddy pass on my linkshell forums it would be differant because my LS mates are my friends.
Why would I give you it over RL friends or LS mates? also lol @ asking on these forums with no PM function, you would get some troll that would see it and use it before you, just so you cant use it.
Also I do have my CE buddy pass but its not for joo i paid £40 for my CE why should your friend I have never met get to play for free? Pay up or gtfo imo.

BUY THE GAME.....
This. If he's still that stuck in the past, odds are he'll nitpick and whine about every small detail. Who in their right mind would give up their buddy pass for a complete stranger who probably won't stick around? That was then, this is now. If you're friend doesn't want to spend 19.99, then lend it to him. Or go back to your gamestop and buy your friend a copy as a gift. When that gamestop clerk has that puzzled look on his face, thinking "that guy was in here last week and bought a copy of XIV, why is he buying another one?" tell him: for giving advice on game purchases he should be more informed when be bestows his wisdom upon customers.
