How is crossbreeding Jute and Tantalplant?

When crossbreeding chocobo food and 7 day plants like Jute I tend to overplant once I harvest either giving me quite a few T onion seeds in a 35 day rotation.

As well as jute there is Broombush, Blood Pepper, and Glazenut for other 7 day worthwhile plants.

I use Ivory's Advanced, but am wondering if there are better seeds to use than Tantalplant, so I can harvest all 8 and not only th 5 Jute, and if there are any combinations that are better than others.
